Class description

This workshop will examine the theory and techniques of education for social change. We will review concepts about how adults learn, present tools for effective adult education, and explore ways to apply these ideas to our work for social change. This training will engage participants in both the theory and practice of learner-centered, experience-based, participatory education for action. It will also give participants the opportunity to examine how workshops are constructed, practice designing and teaching a learning task, and explore facilitation skills.
