Class description

Stories invite us into a dramatic situation, one where something important is at stake. They can offer an experience of injustice, perhaps through an unexpected perspective, enticing us to consider the world in fresh ways. This is a writing workshop, designed for people who may never have written fiction but want to tell stories about injustice/justice. We will play with ways to move beyond headlines and slogans, to create characters, and write a short scene about something that matters.

Note: Workshop participants should bring pen and paper, or a laptop.
