Class description

Many movement organizations struggle to find a decision-making system that works for them, and many organizations practice what they think is consensus process without understanding the fundamental building blocks which can lead to organizational dysfunction. This workshop will help people decide if consensus decision-making is right for their group. We will review some history of consensus decision-making, provide models for how to practice it, and discuss the value of horizontal decision-making and direct democracy.
