Two reproductive rights and justice activists from Massachusetts will lead a conversation about threats posed by anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers” and the battle to access abortion pills in a post-Roe America.

Carrie N. Baker is a Professor in the Program for the Study of Women and Gender at Smith College, co-founder of the Five College Program in Reproductive Health, Rights and Justice, former President of the Abortion Rights Fund of Western Massachusetts, and current board member of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts. She is a regular contributor to Ms. Magazine and writes a monthly column in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Sheila Ramirez is the Director of Health Policy and Government Relations at the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts. She works to advance sexual and reproductive health legislative priorities. She is a graduate of Western New England School of Law and is originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts.
