Resting To Rise: A Daring to Rest Community Nap
February 12 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm ESTFree
Want to change the world – but are bone-tired? Participate in a community nap with other motivated but weary folks interested in personal growth for social transformation. Fuel leadership development with an introduction to Daring to Rest. This profoundly healing practice involves lying down, resting, and resetting one’s nervous system to plug back into personal power which is a catalyst for social transformation. You will need a place to sit or lie down comfortably with eyes closed, and a blanket. Optional: a small object from nature that fits in the palm of your hand.<brs:
Benita Jackson is Professor of Psychology at Smith College, Director of the Society, Psychology, and Health Laboratory, and a Certified Facilitator of the Daring to Rest methodology.
