Class Description: This class is designed to give participants an understanding of the different and complex elements of Hip Hop culture. Tem Blessed of Blest Energy will use Hip Hop as a tool to effectively engage participants in meaningful discussions about issues of racism, sexism, personal responsibility and classism in the context of the music, artists, and culture. The objective is to break down the stereotypes and myths associated with Hip Hop culture and to present the positive side of the genre that is seldom portrayed in the media.
