Pamela Schwartz
Pamela Schwartz is a life-long social justice activist, starting with her Washington, DC public school experience, followed by a professional life as a legal services lawyer, a policy analyst and organizer at the Tax Equity Alliance of Massachusetts (now MA Budget and Policy Center), communications director at the National Priorities Project and for the last decade as director of the Western MA Network to End Homelessness. She also served as Northampton's Ward 4 City Councilor (2009-2013), co-led Northampton's property tax override campaigns in 2009 and 2013 to preserve public education and basic services and chaired the write-in campaign for Senator Jo Comerford in 2018. Pamela moved to Northampton in 1983 with her husband Joel Feldman, and they have had the incredibly good fortune to raise their 3 children, Isaiah, Gabriel and Talia, in this beautiful community. The Truth School reflects the heart of that beauty!
