Sing for Freedom: Using Our Voices to Create the World We Want to Live In

Thursday, May 23, 2019; 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Treehouse Community Room, 1 Treehouse Circle, Easthampton

Eveline MacDougal
Trainer: Eveline MacDougall, Founder and Director of Amandla Chorus

Pete Seeger once pointed out to Eveline that “every major social movement has been accompanied by group singing.” Eveline will lead participants through songs of freedom, celebration, lament, and gratitude, all in four-part harmony. It’s not hard! We’ll sing in a few different languages, which is easier than you think. P.S. More singers = more fun, so please ask your friends to sign up for this workshop, too! Recharge your batteries by singing in community—by the end, you’ll be ready for anything.
