Bios

Ella Zimbalist grew up in Northampton, MA, and currently lives in Boston, working as the Family Mobility Associate for United South End Settlements (USES). She graduated from Tulane University in 2020 with a major in Political Science and Social Policy and Practice and a minor in Latin American Studies. During her time at Tulane she was a Community Engagement Advocate through the Center of Public Service, and conducted research in Political Science and Latin American Studies. Ella has held a number of internships including with the ACLU of Western Massachusetts, Community Legal Aid, and the Office of Senator Jo Comerford. In her current role at USES, Ella advocates for equitable early education policy and supports families towards economic mobility.
