Mireille Bejjani
Mireille Bejjani is the Co-Executive Director of Slingshot, a regional nonprofit that works alongside communities most impacted by environmental threats, to take aim at polluters and build community power. Mireille has been a full-time environmental organizer for 4 years, and has worked on local, statewide, regional, and national campaigns from Virginia to California. They seek to build relationships with and center frontline communities envisioning a more just and sustainable future. Locally, they work with the Springfield Climate Justice Coalition and Neighbor to Neighbor. Outside of their organizing work, they live in a housing cooperative in Greenfield and enjoy going for long hikes in preparation for an upcoming 300-mile trek through their father’s native country of Lebanon.
