Marisa Pizii
Marisa Pizii has been involved with Abortion Rights Fund of Western Mass since 2019. She currently co-chairs the board, and co-organizes DARLA, an abortion doula collective situated within the fund to support abortion seekers. In addition, Marisa is the Deputy Director of Programs and Policy with Collective Power for Reproductive Justice. She oversees all programs and represents CPRJ in state and national reproductive justice coalitions. In addition, Marisa’s community work includes working with Empty Arms Bereavement Support both as a support group facilitator for people who have had an abortion later in pregnancy due to fetal anomalies, and as a hospital support companion for people (and their families) experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. She has a Master’s Degree in higher education administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BA in public policy and women’s studies from the University of North Carolina.
