Julie Kurose is the Truth School Registrar and Catalog Editor. She holds a BA from Wesleyan University and a BS in Nursing from Columbia University. After leaving the nursing profession in 1991 to spend several years at home with her children while they were young, she became the High School Registrar and Guidance Office Administrator at Northampton High School, where she worked for 15 years. She and her husband live in Northampton, MA. Julie has a life-long commitment to social justice and is active in community affairs and progressive politics.
