Michael J. DeLuca is a web designer, writer and indie publisher. He founded Reckoning, a nonprofit literary journal of creative writing on environmental justice. His novella, Night Roll, about community organizing in a near-future Detroit, was a finalist for the Crawford Award in 2020. He lives in the rapidly suburbifying post-industrial woodlands north of Detroit, with partner, kids, cats, and microbes.
